Great cover, would love to see a version where we see the snake bite the lady in the story, but that probably would be hard to show.

Really good art, but the snake wasn't a cobra. It was a viper.

Love this book and this picture is great, but doesn't it kinda give the whole plot away? xD

Sort of. If you never read the book it might entice you to see what the snake has to do with it. Regardless, it is aimed at a younger reader so it might not be such a issue.

Ah, I get it. Thanks.
I was about 9 when I first read this book, and I was so scared after. Thought it was brilliant, though,

Amazing job! (This was definitely the most frightening of the Sherlock stories)

Wow you really captured the moment very well. This was probably my favorite adventure of Sherlock Holmes.

Not bad, but it wasn't a cobra it was a swamp adder in the story

Yes. I know but a cobra is more visually appealing. I did change it inside the story to a adder.

This picture is kind of cool. You must have had to reference somethings for Victorian attire, I don't think too many comic books have that going on ...

I love how cool Sherlock is and Watson's shocked face.

I REALLY like the composition and the overall style, but as a cover - isn't it something of a huge spoiler, putting the snake in there? I mean, there are people who don't know all the stories by heart yet...

I thought about it and I felt the snake would make people more curious as to how it plays in to the story. You have to remember that these books were meant for younger readers and the covers had to be somewhat interesting.

Yeah, I agree (Comment leech, AWAY!!!!!!) but you could have done the snake vanishing into the vent or something. But then, I'm a writer. I can't tell the difference between water-colour and acyrlic... BUT I CAN SPELL IT, SEE?!?!?! XD

Hey, I remember this story...Isn't it the one where this father has this pet snake, and he killed the first daughter with one by doing this weird bell / thru the ceiling or w/e thing? And then there was an accident and it killed him instead of the second daughter... I forgot the details, but something like this happened ><

lol yey~ hahah yeah, thanks ^_^
It's been...years since I read that story..I should do so again.

I often wonder where Sherlock knows all these things..."THE LETTERING...its from that paper! And that ink is certaily only used in this remote part of india during the full moon!" ...you get what I mean ><

His brother is the same, it's kinda funny xp
